Painting is like the miracle of Jesus with the wine. You hope it will keep coming, but you don't know.
You have water, and somehow something happens to it and it becomes a painting.

Maybe with time, you feel more confident about the process: it gets more substance, you feel more density in it. But you also don't want your work to become like a system: you need to be fresh all the time. This is the difficult part, how not to just copy yourself and let the painting come from a level deeper than your Self.
